What is Neurotherapy?

Neurotherapy, or "Neurofeedback Therapy" is a non-invasive method of direct brain function training. The system uses electrodes (which act like tiny microphones) placed on the scalp to record and magnify brainwaves that control auditory, visual, and/or tactile feedback, and communicate through a training program that rewards you with certain positive re-reinforcements when the correct waves are being produced. This allows learning to take place. This type of learning through a rewards training system allows self-regulation (the brain adapting to changes on its own) and improves relaxation, both necessary components of good brain function.

There are so many facets to what neurotherapy does, and the impacts it can have on us are literally endless. If you have any more questions about neurofeedback therapy, please fill out the contact form in the "Contact Us" tab. We will be happy to provide a more specific answer or suggestion based on the information you provide for us.
